The direct surroundings of EuroParcs Molengroet offers a lot for the whole family. Besides the Geestmerambacht recreational lake and the Schoorl dunes with the North Holland coast behind, the village of Schoorl with its Klimduin, shops and restaurants is an inspiring outing for all ages.

Children will not get bored for a moment elsewhere in the region either. Families on holiday can go to De Holle Bolle Boom near Dirkshorn which consists of an indoor play paradise and an outdoor splash pool. You can also visit Van Blanckendaellpark zoo in Tuitjenhorn.

Or let the kids have fun at De Goudvis play park in Sint Maartenszee. In addition, choose Het Land van Fluwel, which is nearby: this park combines education about the history of the tulip with plenty of attractions.

Something else to recommend is the indoor sports and game world SkagaVenture in Schagen. Which has a 350-metre kart track plus a thousand-square-meter trampoline park as well as Virtual Reality Rooms and an indoor play paradise.

Or go to Vlindorado in Waarland, which offers a beautiful display of countless butterflies. Furthermore, a must see is Landgoed Hoenderdaell, which houses lions and tigers, among others. All this can be combined with a visit to Schagen, Alkmaar and the coast.
