EuroParcs Pressegger See is situated in the south of the state of Carinthia, near the Italian border, on the Pressegger See and close to the Weissensee lake. At 930 metres, this is the highest mountain lake in the region and known for the Alternative Elfstedentocht. The holiday park is close to the Adriatic Sea, which explains the Mediterranean sea climate in summer. It is partly for this reason that it is Austria's most visited state. Other reasons are the excellent summer and winter sports facilities and the many picturesque villages and towns.
