EuroParcs Group swaps Apeldoorn for Amersfoort

EuroParcs Group is moving to new headquarters in Amersfoort. After an intensive search within the 'Apeldoorn-Amersfoort-Arnhem triangle', the choice fell on the former VolkerWessels office building at Podium 9 in Amersfoort Vathorst. Before the end of this year, EuroParcs will move into the office, taking the big step of leaving home base Apeldoorn.

EuroParcs Group CEO Wouter Vos said, "The choice to leave Apeldoorn was not an easy one for EuroParcs. We have been based in Apeldoorn since the company was founded. Nevertheless, we made this step full of conviction. The new building is future-proof, sustainable, easily accessible by public transport and car, and ready to move in, so that we will be able to move in this year. We are ready for the next step in the development of our company and I am convinced that the move, which will allow us to work together with all headquarters colleagues in one building, will contribute to that."

Currently, EuroParcs Group headquarters employees work from three locations, two of which are in Apeldoorn and one in Hoenderloo. Wouter Vos: "The move to the new building in Amersfoort literally brings the head office employees closer together, which is not only more pleasant to work with, but also a lot more efficient."

For the current employees, who will have to deal with a longer commuting distance as a result, a more generous travel expenses scheme has been established, and flexible working from home versus working hours in the office building in Amersfoort will be negotiated.

The municipality of Amersfoort is also excited about EuroParcs coming to Amersfoort. The first teams will move to the new headquarters before the end of this month.
