Wouter Vos will step down as CEO of EuroParcs from 1 November 2024. The shares of the Vos family (38%) will also be transferred to major shareholder Waterland. After almost 20 years in charge, during which EuroParcs grew from 7 to 60 holiday parks, Wouter feels it is a natural moment to hand over the baton. He will be succeeded by Andries Bruil, who has been working with Wouter since 2020.
EuroParcs recently presented its Horizon 2028 strategic vision, which focuses on strengthening tourism and customer experience. The focus will be less on new park development in the coming years. The three holiday parks Aan de Maas, De Wiltzangh and De Wiedense Meren, which do not fully fit within the new strategy, will be further developed under the leadership of Wouter Vos and will remain owned by the Vos family.
Wouter Vos thanks the employees, customers and partners for their support and entrusts the future of EuroParcs to Andries Bruil (see photo) and the team.
