EuroParcs IJsselmeer offers the best that North Holland has to offer. This holiday park is situated directly on the IJsselmeer and the monumental town of Medemblik. Medemblik is considered a leader in Dutch water recreation and water sports and the park reflects this: each of the accommodation units has a mooring in the backyard on navigable water.

From the garden, you look out over the rippling water. Everything here at EuroParcs IJsselmeer in Medemblik is all about water and splashing activities. Holiday park EuroParcs IJsselmeer is located near the international sailing competition centre, the Regatta centre.
In addition, you can regularly admire the brown fleet in the harbour of Medemblik. Whether for swimming or boat races: this town with its beautiful seventeenth-century centre is usually the starting and/or finishing point.
Incidentally, Medemblik also shows another side of the water. Next door to EuroParcs IJsselmeer is the Dutch Steam Engine Museum. Here you can still see a steam pumping station in operation.
Just as special is the museum steam train that runs between Medemblik and Hoorn. Medemblik still has an authentic old-Dutch atmosphere and the Golden Age can be seen in the beautiful facades and buildings.
At the holiday park, it is possible to rent a motorboat, supboard or sloop. There is also a heated indoor swimming pool with slide, tennis courts, sports field and Brasserie.
Just outside the holiday park is Golf Course de Vlietlanden. All holiday homes at EuroParcs IJsselmeer are built on islands. All houses are therefore located by the water!
