Apart from the fact that EuroParcs De Zanding is located in the middle of the Veluwe and within walking distance of National Park De Hoge Veluwe, you will find even more nature in the area.
You will also be surprised and amazed by the sand drifts at Het Mosselse Zand nature reserve right next to the holiday park. Or by the varied landscape of woods, streams, grass and old burial mounds in another nature reserve, Het Planken Wambuis, also located at EuroParcs De Zanding. You can combine these inspiring walking and cycling trips with a visit to the many picturesque villages in the area.
EuroParcs De Zanding is located in the middle of nature, but both Apeldoorn and Arnhem are only just over twenty minutes away by car. This makes the holiday park an ideal location from where you can visit the Apenheul zoo in Apeldoorn, where you will not only meet monkeys from all over the world but can often feed them too.
Or go for a visit to children's amusement park Julianatoren, also in Apeldoorn. In Arnhem, Burgers' Zoo, with its jungle, desert, savannah, mangrove and underwater world, guarantees fun for the whole family.
