A holiday home in the woods, by the lake at Hoge Kempen National Park: the Lake Houses at EuroParcs Hoge Kempen are in a special location and are also premium in terms of architecture. These holiday homes are a wonderful symbiosis of, on the one hand, a warm wood look befitting a wooded environment. On the other hand, they exude that 'airy' look that symbolises the wind and thus the sense of freedom that comes with a place with lots of water.
The terrace in particular depicts 'both worlds': it is partly completely covered and partly equipped with a pergola. That is, either of the two terraces. At the rear, the holiday home has another terrace without a roof, which completes the transition from indoor to outdoor living and from a cosy forest to an open water experience.
The Lake Houses are also simply tasteful in their choice of materials. The pergola is made of Corten steel with a wood look, but the side rafters are made of white plaster, as is the exterior of the house itself. The decking is extra-heavy composite and, thanks to its anthracite colour, contrasts beautifully with the pergola.
Inside, the eye-catcher is the spacious living room, with its nicely furnished dining and lounge area, together with the open kitchen. This kitchen is fully equipped with a stainless steel sink, dishwasher, built-in fridge and freezer and an extractor fan above the hob.
The Lake House type houses three bedrooms that provide six beds. Each of these three rooms is equipped with ample wardrobe space. The luxuriously appointed bathroom comprises a washbasin with fountain, a spacious shower cubicle and a toilet.
